Hi, I’m Christina Veha!

I am a self taught UX designer with a background in marketing and a passion for user experience design. In my previous experiences in the service industry and the food industry, it helped me to be more empathetic and think critically about solutions.

Additionally, having a degree in marketing has set my abilities to understand users first and combine marketing strategies with design principles to deliver effective solutions that meet user needs.

I’ve learned a lot about the design processes, UX/UI concepts, and product design through the Google UX Design Certificate, YouTube tutorials, and reading articles.

The after hours…

In my free time, I enjoy crocheting clothes and purses. I find that crochet to be very relaxing and exciting whenever I start a new project. Even if I have to start over and revise it for the 14th time (#beentheredonethat), I will - and I enjoy it anyway! Gotta do it Right and do it Well.

More recently, I have been sewing clothes! YouTube and online sewing patterns have been my best friends when it comes to new projects.

Additionally, I love spending time with my friends and exploring new places - especially restaurants, cafes, and mom-and-pops! New places and food allow me to diversify my palette, expand my knowledge, and connect with different people and cultures because I’m very passionate about embracing who you are :) I would love to travel more in the future and continue to learn about the different ways of life that vary across the world.
